Graduation, Seniors, and Love

The other day my cousin and his girlfriend drove from Tucson to Mesa to get their senior pictures done. This session was so much fun! (I know I say that about every session, but really I love what I do and I love the variety). They are both planning on moving to the valley to attend ASU and MCC, and it was neat to see that they had everything planned and ready to go! (I probably felt this way because I was the complete opposite when I was a senior.. haha) In addition to being so mature, these two were SO photogenic! I mean, model status! Anywho, I'm babbling now... Enjoy! xoxo

7 Years Going on 17

So these last few weeks have been so crazy busy for me! I feel like I post a session almost daily! I absolutely love my job and what I get to capture with my clients. A few days ago, I got to take picture of this handsome boy, Gavin. He was turning 7 and his mom wanted some updated/birthday pics. He was such a great model!! He had so much energy and throughout the session, he would offer different poses and expressions. I usually get this type of excitement from giddy girls, so it was nice to see a cute boy be just as excited! I look forward to more sessions with this little dude. Enjoy! xoxo

Meet Brooklynn Paige

My sweet, beautiful niece was born April 8th, 2015. I had the privilege of taking her newborn photos. She is such a bright, amazingly beautiful baby and I already love her to pieces. This newborn session, I really tried to step out of my "comfort zone" and focus more on the lifestyle type of look. I love this family so much, and their newest addition fits in perfectly. Enjoy! xoxo

Brooklynn's Arrival

I've talked about labor photography in some of my later posts, but let me just say(again), that this is hands down, my favorite thing to photograph... EVER. This was my sister in laws session and I couldn't help but squeal with excitement as little Brooklynn came into this world. She really was so perfect and happy, and her parents were more than excited as she made her arrival. Being in a room when a baby is being born is the most amazing thing. For me, I could just feel God and His love ascending down and gracing it upon these proud parents. She had two of her sisters, her mom, and husband in the room, and I just loved how both sisters went right up next to her, encouraged her, and pushed her through to the end. The love and support this family has for each other is so beautiful. Thanks again, Ryan and Char, for letting me experience your little miracle making her way into the world. I love you both so much!! Enjoy! XOXO

This woman tried EVERYTHING to get her baby out. She was so strong and such a champ about it too. In the end she had to be induced, like her other two babies. I had to get a shot of the magical pitocin that gave her that extra push into labor haha

I HAD to get a shot of the bag... 1) it's a petunia pickle bottom which is my FAV  2) its adorable and  3) her hubby wouldn't let her use it until the baby came, so getting to have it at the hospital was a big deal. (They have two other kiddos, and he made her wait. This was a birthday gift for her to have for Brooklynn)

You can't tell they are sisters AT ALL right??

Let me explain this, I was by my sister in law, ready to take THE shot, and the Dr says "Ryan, lean down and help pull her out!". It was so cool, but he leaned right in front of me, so this is the shot I got. hehe!
