Brooklynn's Arrival

I've talked about labor photography in some of my later posts, but let me just say(again), that this is hands down, my favorite thing to photograph... EVER. This was my sister in laws session and I couldn't help but squeal with excitement as little Brooklynn came into this world. She really was so perfect and happy, and her parents were more than excited as she made her arrival. Being in a room when a baby is being born is the most amazing thing. For me, I could just feel God and His love ascending down and gracing it upon these proud parents. She had two of her sisters, her mom, and husband in the room, and I just loved how both sisters went right up next to her, encouraged her, and pushed her through to the end. The love and support this family has for each other is so beautiful. Thanks again, Ryan and Char, for letting me experience your little miracle making her way into the world. I love you both so much!! Enjoy! XOXO

This woman tried EVERYTHING to get her baby out. She was so strong and such a champ about it too. In the end she had to be induced, like her other two babies. I had to get a shot of the magical pitocin that gave her that extra push into labor haha

I HAD to get a shot of the bag... 1) it's a petunia pickle bottom which is my FAV  2) its adorable and  3) her hubby wouldn't let her use it until the baby came, so getting to have it at the hospital was a big deal. (They have two other kiddos, and he made her wait. This was a birthday gift for her to have for Brooklynn)

You can't tell they are sisters AT ALL right??

Let me explain this, I was by my sister in law, ready to take THE shot, and the Dr says "Ryan, lean down and help pull her out!". It was so cool, but he leaned right in front of me, so this is the shot I got. hehe!

Coming Soon: Brooklynn Paige

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph my expecting sister in law. She is one of my dearest friends and I was so honored to capture these moments. She makes being pregnant look super easy, and she just has a beautiful glow. I bet she is rolling her eyes, because this pregnancy was rough for her, but she really looked stunning the entire time! I remember being only half way through mine, and was waddling, and I can honestly I have never seen her do the "waddle". Hope you enjoy these as much as I do! xoxo

This one meant a lot to me, I had wanted to do a "silhouette" shot but it just wasn't coming out. I told her to look up and took the shot. When we were both looking through them I said "Oh I love that one!" and she replied, "Me too, it's as if I'm thanking God for this child". Since then, I haven't been able to look at this without getting teary eyed. It's moments like this that I am so humbled and grateful to be a photographer.

Meet Baby Easton

So a few weeks ago I had the honor of capturing my newest nephew, Easton. He was so perfect the entire time and the whole session was a blast. I got to also snag a few of him and his older brother Michael together. I love newborns so much. They remind me of a warm, soft, cuddly blanket that I could snuggle for hours! Enjoy! Xoxo

I know this isn't the most "perfect" picture when it comes to the photography world, but I HAD to get a close up of those lips... I mean, picture perfect!!!
